The imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4545i’s HDD Encryption function – updated to obtain FIPS 140-2 validation – allows the printer/scanner/copier to automatically encrypt data stored on the main unit’s HDD to limit unauthorized access to internal data. Information can remain private and secure when needed with controlled access using IPsec, port filtering capabilities and SSL technology.
